1st Annual Ohana Day to be held on 4th of July, Independence Day
Konishiki Kids Foundation's 1st Annual Ohana Day will be held
at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park on Friday, July 4th, 2008,
Independence Day. The Konishiki Kids themselves are part of the
organizing committee hosting this wonderful event.
This is a fund raising event for Konishiki Kids Foundation.
All donations will go towards the education fund for the children
of Waianae on the Leeward Coast of Oahu.
Come and enjoy the exciting water slides, relaxing tube cruise and
other rides. There will be live music throughout the day, the Ohana
Time Concert and Dance Contest. We will have drawings for prizes
including a trip to Japan. There will be games and activities happening
all day long. A spectacular fireworks show will also be part of Ohana
Day.
You won't want to miss this day of fun for children, adults,
family and friends!

Activities for the young and the young at heart:
Face painting, Balloon twisting, Tattoo artist, Magician and Clowns.
Come and enjoy booth of all interest.
Dance Contest (by age groups):
You will be able to sign up for the dance contest on the day of the
event. Our DJ will be there to entertain you. Anyone can sign up.
Sign up will be on a first come first serve basis.
Drawing of Fun Pictures:
Pictures will be taken of families, couples, Kupunas (senior), cutest babies and more..
These pictures will be in a drawing and the picture that is drawned for these catergory will get a prize. Announcement of winner will occur during the Ohana Time Concert between 5:00-9:00pm.

Game Contests on the Big Screen:
Enjoy and experiance playing the Wii game on the big screen.
Raffle Drawing for Prizes:
Enter to win prizes including a roundtrip air ticket to Japan.
Announcement of winner will take place during the Ohana Time Concert between 5:00-9:00pm.

Live Concert with Popular Hawaiian Musicians:
Daytime concert to include Robi Kahakalau, Jeff Rasmussen, Vaihi, Konishiki & Taupou and more.
Ohana Time Concert from 5:00 pm to include Laga Savea,
Kalapana, Seven Simple Pieces and Pilioha and more.
Hula Show by the second place winner of 2008 Merrie Monarch
(men's division), Kumu Hula O'Brien Eselu and Ke Kai O Kahiki.
The very first Fireworks Show celebrating 4th of July,
Independence Day on the Leeward Coast:
Spectacular fireworks show will be put on along with the performance
of Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Hawaii (Okinawan Drums).
