Independence Day Fireworks
Ohana Day was brought to tune by various musicians from a Hawaiian Stylin' Robi Kahakalau and Kalapana to New Stars such as Laga Savea. There were also entertainment that only Hawaii could present such as The O'brien Eselu Hula and Polynesian Show.

The Finale of the concert was sparked by the first ever Fireworks Festival at Oahu's Leeward Coastline, presented by Grucci. "I want as many people of West Oahu to see the Fireworks as long as they can!" As a request from Konishiki himself, the fireworks went on for a significantly long time, for Hawaiian Fireworks. The Fireworks lit up the sky, above the many people who came to share their aloha and fun with each other at the stage. It surely revealed their bright smiling faces.


Day Entertainment (Midday)
Entertainment took place at the Water Park's center stage. Having the performers so close to the audience a very natural warming home-party like atmosphere surrounded the stage.

The Local Musician Vaihi marked the beginning of a string of astounding performances. The vocal percussion of Vaihi as well as their songs and music seemed to have brought the audiences to lean forward in their chairs, as if to get more of the action.

The 'Hawaiian Music' has to certainly be represented by these two. Their sweet voices and soft, but rather quick tempo music filled the air with a 'local kine' groove pleasing the audience. As they sung a warm breeze blew through the stage, giving a true 'hawaiian' laid-back feeling, surely lowered the eyelids of a few relaxed, chillin' listeners in the audience.

Having been a performer and a winning finalist in the Merrie Momarch Festival, Hula Master O'brien Eselu and his Hula show performed a magical show. Having many Polynesian descendants in the Hawaiian Family, their talent of bring the crowd to the peak of excitement was simply, amazing.

Formerly all Solo singers, these three young virtuoso's are the latest newest star artists. Hearing the soft-spoken Hawaiian Music under the clear blue sky showed a significant meaning of what Hawaii really was meant to be like. There were also Hula Dancers from Japan that jumped in and started dancing along with the music.




Ohana Time Concert (Afternoon)
The Luau Gathering stage proved to bring the tourists and locals together into Ohana
This event took place in the middle of Hawaiian Adventures Parks' Luau gathering. Many people sat down on chairs or mats, even on the soft green grass as families, friends and lovers gathered to experience the spirit of Hawaiian Independence Day. There were some listening intently, entranced by the beautiful music, some dancing along with the beats having fun, children running around, and some dozed off while resting, tired of running around in the many thrill rides in the Water Park.




Family Fun DayMany people joined in, for the live concert by showing off a few moves to the Hawaiian MusicKonishiki and Konishiki Kids grouped together to give a big aloha and thank you for enjoying Independence Day with them.

Harmonation started to jazz up the night with their groovy Hawaiian fusion music. Harmonation
The band Harmonation started the Ohana Time Concert. Their groovy Hawaiian-fusioned rhythm brought people to an eased relaxed feeling as they swayed with the rhythm of the music.
Hot Rain was very popular with the Hawaii locals when they performed at the live concert. Hot Rain
Receiving a signature hawaiian Anchor cry, "hana-hou!" right after their first song shows just how much this band is loved by the locals. The female singer, with her talents changed the Jawaiian mood into a more lightening POPpin musical theme.

Instead of Hawaiian music, these performers astounded us with their techniques of being able to sound out a galloping whinnying stallion with one guitar. They produced an original kind of music, using both slow tempos and high tempos at the same time entertaining the audience greatly.
B.E.T. on it that this group was the star of the young generation during Ohana Day! B.E.T
The young ones are all heated about them. As the Jawaiian rhythm started, the crowd cheered in delight and began dancing to the light free music. Even some of the Konishiki Kids started to dance along laughing while humming the tunes with B.E.T.
Kalapana and their medley of famous Hawaiian songs brought nostalgia and remembrance of the musical history of Hawaiian Tunes. Kalapana
Kalapana started their performance with a message to Konishiki Kids and Nanakuli, then began their Medley of famous songs, starting with "naturally". The audience swayed to the music while closing their eyes, feeling the rhythm unify with their hearts.
Beating their way into the night, the Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Hawaii and their Okinawan Taikos woke up the audience getting them ready for the last live tonight. Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Hawaii (Okinawan Taiko)
Amidst the Hawaiian and Jawaiian music, these performers had some audiences jump out of their chairs startled with their energetic entertainment. Holding bright red taiko's while wearing black uniforms were very flashy, but the sheer numbers of the performers really made an impact. As the light dimmed in the sky, the strong beats of the Taiko vibrated throughout the Park, making the hearts of the audience beat a little faster.
Laga Savea and Hot Rain marked the final of the Live Concerts at Ohana Day, filling the Independence Day night with a loud uproar of excitement and joy. Laga Savea and Hot Rain
Last but certainly not the least, Laga Savea the nephew of Konishiki brought a HOT Flavor of young generation musicians HOT RAIN, KIWINI, and GEORGIE filled the night with Unstopping sound that brought the crowd in an uproar of excitement to the Sound of Laga Savea's Music..
