The First Annual Ohana Day has been a success!

kids line up to get ready to have some fun at the first Annual Ohana Day in Hawaiian Waters Adventure ParkFourth of July, is a special day for every citizen in the United States of America. This symbolizes the day of Independence. Konishiki and the Konishiki Kids Foundation Presents the 1st Annual Ohana Day at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park creating festive activities for Ohana (family) members of all ages to enjoy a fun filled day together… As the excited customers walk through the park entrance, Konishiki Kids from the Konishiki Kids Foundation greet them with entrance bangles


What a Blast having Activities galore captivating the attention of our little babies to Kupuna's. A variety of entertainment and music that made all ages get up on their feet and jam. The photo and dance contest awarded winners to take home fabulous prizes and last by least our Raffles tickets gave a mother the opportunity to win a round trip ticket for 2 to Japan….


On the day of the event, friends, families, and people of all ages lined up to experience a fun filled day of adventure. Everyone came in the park with anticipation of having FUN, FUN, FUN, and MORE FUN…


Konishiki Kids greeted every person at the gate as they clipped an entrance bangle and wished with them a safe and fun day..


Activities Dance contest Photo Contest Prizes
These balloons and other toys brought a cheer to the kids at Ohana Day They say that the adults division was the most 'fun' to watch at the Dance Contest! The Photo contest was a event completely run by the Konishiki Kids during Ohana Day A somewhat surprised winner recieves her prizes at the Raffle Prize Award during Ohana Day

Concerts and Fireworks        
Jeff Rasmussen and Robi Kahakalau sing sweet tunes in the morning concert during Ohana Day   The O'brien Eselu Hula Show rocked the stage with their high tempo Polynesian and Hawaiian Dances   B.E.T. proved that the young generation still cherished the old Hawaiian Musical Ways while being in modern style   Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Hawaii (Okinawan Taiko) were another main attraction during the concert at Ohana Day

Hawaii's Local music and entertainment filled the air with easy breezy tunes, pop rocking Jawaiian jams, and even Okinawan Taiko! The various music brought the many fruits together into one fruit bowl called Hawaii creating a sense of Ohana and Peace.

The Volunteers and the Konishiki Kids
Ohana Day is backed up by the generations of Konishiki Kids and their supporting friends and families, as well as a massive amount of volunteers all working together to make this event happen. There were 187 volunteers. (120 of them are KKF kids and parents) Before the event they have had several meeting to discuss the KKF mission, purpose etc..
The Konishiki Kids, with their volunteers were also in charge of MCs for the concerts, the Event T-shirts and Raffle ticket sales, Bento sales, Event Staff, and staff for the Dance Contest and Photo Contests. Their efforts and pride in working hard truly made Ohana Day a very VERY successful event.

On the day the KKF booth had have a program overview of the foundation and one of area have pictures boards of each trip that went to Japan in order for kids and parents to share their experience..

Konishiki Kids and Volunteers gather to arrange a short meeting for Ohana Day Konishiki Kids diligently sell t-shirts to a tourist who seems to be looking for a memento of this special day a few Konishiki Kids crusing while waiting for people to come up and sign for their contest. Their warm smiles would surely attract lots of customers
The Ohana Day Dance Contest! was surely a main attraction cause of these volunteers showing their full friendly aloha. Two Konishiki Kids working together to tally up scores for an event. All the volunteers that day were so friendly, it's hard not to buy any raffle tickets from them
Even Security had a little aloha spirit on top of his head during Ohana Day a Konishiki Kid waves as she expresses how fun you could spend Independence day with them at Ohana Day in Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park.
