We, Konishiki Kids’ Foundation, would like to deeply appreciate the people coming to see our performances. We also thank all the support from our sponsors, volunteers, and staffs. Our music and dance performances and the parade on Kalakaua Avenue were great success!

Photographs and video clips of the Waikiki Hoolaulea stage on 9th and the parade on Kalakaua Avenue held on 11th are available at this site.!

The former and current Konishiki Kids performed Hula dances on June 9, in Waikiki. They all were very happy and pleased to feel warm cheers from audiences.
Following the kids’ hula, Konishiki featured his great wife, Taupou, and his famous Hawaiian musician, Fiji. The music swept Waikiki from one end to the other.
The respectful Kumuhula, Nalani Kanakaole and Nani Lim Yap unexpectedly joined in and danced Hula with Konishiki. While the last performer Vaihi was playing, the stage was really livened up, and many audiences near the stage began dancing.
At the parade on June 11, spectators by the road-side cheered and applauded loudly the Konishiki Kids. Those kids will never forget this event forever.
You can help those needy children by making a financial gift to the Konishiki Kids Foundation. Please support the children! |
