The Konishiki Kids Foundation donates school supplies sponsored to children in our community.
Japan Trip Cultural Exchange Program
 The Konishiki Kids Foundation annually sends 35 Hawai’i students
with seven chaperones to Japan for an all-expenses paid cultural experience. Since 1997 launch of the program, more than 300 children have visited Japan.This program is
designed to broaden the keiki’s(children's) horizons, as happened to Konishiki himself, when he left Nanakuli
where he grew up for a career in Japan. Konishiki has always cherished the aloha spirit that he grew
up with, and through this Foundation, strives to create and establish a warm, caring relationship and
greater understanding between the people of Japan and our island children.
